What are the akashic records?
When we think about the akashic records, a huge library of books comes to mind. These are books that were written by people from our past. Many of these people were experts in certain areas, and have recorded virtually all of their recollections about a particular period or event. Now, we can take this step a bit further, by understanding that everyone’s memories, thoughts and experiences are recorded and stored in this huge library, known as the akashic records. Now, we can take this step a bit more further, by understanding that our universe has recorded and stored all of its memories in the akashic records. This information can be easily accessible, much like checking out a book from your local library. Sadly, many people are unaware of how to use the akashic records to manifest their desires.
How to access the akashic records
Why is the akashic records important to you? Well, it’s important because you can use these records to get viable information. What do I mean by that? Well, another way to think about the akashic records is to think about the movie, The Matrix. In The Matrix, Neo, is able to download certain programs, these programs allow him to learn martial arts in just a matter of seconds. Later in the movie, we see his love interest, Trinity, getting instructions on how to fly a helicopter. However, she doesn’t get a step by step guide, rather, she gets an entire program download into her subconscious mind.
What is method acting
That’s the importance of the akashic records. It allows us to download programs from both the collective consciousness and the collective unconsciousness. I know that this concept seems very foreign. However, there are a great deal of actors and writers who engage in this practice as well. They do it through an acting technique known as method acting. Method acting is a practice where the actor surrenders and allows the character to rise up and take its form. This is the reason why a lot actors study other successful characters. Or they will work hard to try and channel a deceased person’s energies or memories.

I know this sounds crazy to a lot of people. However, prominent authors such as Napoleon Hill has talked about his experiences talking to the dead. In his book, Think and Grow Rich, he speaks about how he imagined talking to all the people he wanted to interview before he interviews them. He also touched on speaking with powerful and successful people who have passed on, and were on the other side.

I Ching and Odu readings

Sadly, a lot of people fail to understand that a great deal of divination tools such as the Chinese I Ching and the African Ifa Odu, work very much like the akashic records. The Odu and the I Ching are both ancient oracles that have absorbed a great deal of information over the centuries they’ve been in existence. Much like the akashic records, everything that has ever happened in human and in non-human history is recorded in the Odu and I Ching. These divination tools then work to decipher the information and bring you back the most relevant information.

How does this work? Let’s just say for example that you’ve applied for a job and received three letters of employment. You’re unsure which job to take, because each has its pluses and minuses.
